Hours of Operation & Lobby Hours
The Plympton Police Department provides 24-hour policing services to the Town. Patrols are always on duty. Police, Fire and EMS services are dispatched off-site at the Regional Old Colony Communications Center in Duxbury Massachusetts. Under this arrangement the Plympton Police Station at times is considered a “Dark Station” meaning it can be unoccupied after lobby hours. Secured through live CCTV monitoring and alarm systems when unoccupied.
Open Lobby Hours: Mon. – Fri. 8am-2pm
Access to police officers and access to the station is available 24/7. If you need assistance and arrive after normal lobby hours you merely need to request an officer to respond to the station using our Service Phone located just outside the lobby entrance. Assistance will be on the way.
